Blog of a monstrous girl.

Bah-hum… oh it’s over?

So, Christmas is over and I’m not even gonna lie I’m envious of some of these “Look what I got!” posts. Christmas is slowly becoming just another day to my family, and I’m afraid after a while no one’s even gonna call each other and wish one another a Merry Christmas. /sigh

Ah well. I wasn’t expecting to get anything this year, in fact, I wasn’t planning on spending Christmas with my family this year. I was actually debating on whether or not to spend it with the boy. However, spending the whole day and night in his room watching him play Skyrim sounded dreadful. (He’s not so good at the romantic ordeal of being a relationship. He’ll learn, if I have to teach him.) So I decided to spend it with my family.

I didn’t take pictures of the wrappings or the actual gifts themselves but I got pajamas and socks AGAIN from my two great aunts. It’s okay that they didn’t know what to get me but, like I said on twitter:

Or if anything, nothing. I have pajamas in my drawers that I haven’t even worn yet! Some have been donated but still. Not to TMI you guys, but given the chance — I prefer sleeping naked.

Ah well, my uncle came over after my great aunts and he didn’t fail to impress. Look at what I got!

I’ve been playings Saints Row 3 since I’ve gotten it. So happy to have it. It is sooo much fun. If you like that sort of stuff of course.  It feeds to my nerdy side too.

Besides the gifts, I enjoyed the company of my family. That was kind of the best part. Seeing them all alive and healthy makes me happy keeps me calm.

Hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas. Here’s to New Years.

Ah well, getting presents without much thought suck… but I guess at least you got something. Although they suck, I’d just look at it that way. Although (again lol) I have to admit that it’s definitely easier for me to say this to you because I got a lot of what I wanted but WHO KNOWS, maybe you’ll need them one day :D

At least you got something you wanted to :)

Thanks, I like your layout too! :)

That’s really sad that you don’t get many presents :( I hate people who do those posts too, some people get nothing; I jsut think it’s a little in sensitive but, it’s christmas!

I don’t play XBOX my brothers do and PS3 but I don’t have time I’m always studying for my A Levels. Bad Times.

The games totally made up for the socks if you ask me! ha ha:) enjoy playing them!

I can relate, Christmas is not such a big deal to my family either

Hope you have a great new year :)

I really hate getting the same presents from the same people- every year! I think they thought we wouldn’t be able to notice since we probably won’t be able to remember what they gace us last year? Wrong! :) )

Assassin’s Creed is hot baby. Have you tried playing God of War? That is one awesome game as well.

I feel for you when getting a present you have no use for. D: it’s a waste of money that you could of use for something else. —but your uncle took the prize for bringing in some games! I miss my ps3. I used to play game like COD, ninja gaiden, little big planet, and so on with my old one. Now I just play religiously on my iphone. :D

Honestly, I’m pretty jealous of what you got! I wish I had more PJs (I need more black socks, too) and I would love to be given Revelations so I wouldn’t have to buy it when I finish playing Brotherhood. :P I totally understand why you’re frustrated about getting so many PJs and socks, though. Your aunts should know that if they get you new ones every year, you’re bound to end up with way too many!! They should ask you what you want instead of just defaulting to PJs when they don’t know. xD Of course, I usually tell my mom what I want and she still manages to mess it up most years. :P

I think you’re pretty lucky to have gotten gifts! I just got a bracelet and a diary. I know you can get envious of other people’s posts, and I do too, but I just look at how good Christmas was for me. I did have a generally nice day though we didn’t really celebrate.

I don’t play any of those games but they’re still worth quite a bit. I know clothes are pretty dull things to get. I have many pyjamas and wouldn’t be happy with more… but I suppose getting something you “need” isn’t that exciting. Still, be grateful! :P

It seems like that for my family as well. Before, we use to buy presents for each other, ALL of each other. Then, it was secret santa. NOW, we’re doing white elephant, which makes it even more impersonal.

    Meh, oh well.

Socks and PJs? I need both of those so bad but got none for Xmas this year. D=

Haha, you’re going to love Saints Row. I played a little bit of it and it’s so ridiculous and over-the-top. You’re gonna love it!

Yeah sometimes I think it’s better to give gift cards for Christmas. But then you’d have to tell person the specific amount! That’s why Christmas shopping stresses me out.

If I played Xbox I would’ve loved those games, but I got a game for my Wii.

That’s great you had a happy Christmas day! I spent mine alone and it was a nice change.

Omg that’s horrible! Half aso????!!!!! And I know it’s none of my business, but is it any of her business who her sister marries and has children with? Usually it’s the parents who are intense about it. Though what can I say, my dad’s brother doesn’t really like us either.

LOL I like how our minds are like “ugghh..why can’t you just give me the money” when we open a present we dislike.

My family never celebrated xmas; hence, no present exchanging or whatever. I’ve never received a present from my family before not even on my bday. Gift wrapping is very a unfamiliar experience for me and so is gift unwrapping. The only time I get to wrap and unwrap is with friends, but that rarely happens since my friends and myself are pretty much broke lol

Everyone is different, I don’t really look forward to Christmas anymore when it comes to presents for years now, my mom stopped getting us presents around jr high/ high school. This year my older sister was the one who impressed me by unexpectedly getting me and my sister the Sims 3 and the nightlife expansion pack :] Then i got nail polish and eyeliner from my younger sister, it was nice since I needed eyeliner. But yeah, I would be upset with pajamas too because I sleep in my underwear xD so I get you haha. But just to let you know you are not alone with an ehh Christmas :]
